On Monday, July 29th, 2024, the residents of Deva Kripa Senior Citizens Home in Attavar celebrated the feast of Martha, Mary, and Lazarus with a lively game of Housie (also known as Tambola). The activity was organized as a way for the inmates to bond and interact with each other in a fun and engaging manner.
The game was met with enthusiasm and excitement, as the residents eagerly participated, trying their luck at winning the various prizes up for grabs. The sound of numbers being called out and the anticipation of completing a row or a full house filled the air, creating a sense of camaraderie and friendly competition among the players.
After the game concluded, a prize distribution ceremony was held, where the lucky winners were awarded their prizes. This was followed by an interactive session, where the residents had the opportunity to share their experiences, stories, and memories, further strengthening the sense of community within the home.
The Housie game proved to be an excellent way to bring the residents together, fostering social interaction and creating lasting memories on this special day.
